You know, when I first started writing to you all, I was just a junior high kid. You've seen be through all my rather psycho antics, my rants, my shoddy poetry and much much more. Well today was my very last day of high school. Today, I am an adult, free to do what I need to do. So I thought I'd go on over and tell you some summer plans and such, and really, this time I expect you to comment. Especially you Marina. And you know I don't call you that unless you fail. In which case at the moment you do! D:
Anywho! Onto my list in no particular order!
I shall be taking a road trip to Oklahoma yet again this summer. Omi needs help moving into her place and well, it'll be nice to take a long drive with my mom. Road tripping is one of my very favorite things to do.
My family is getting a new bird. I know it seems soon with the tragedy we just had, but I think it will help fill the void a little. I know Mickey would be proud of me for holding myself together and giving my love to a baby who needs a home just like he did. He's singing for me in heaven and will always watch over all of us, because thats what little Grey and Yellow angels do. Our new bird will be a green cheek conure. I have no idea what gender is it (we're actually having a DNA test to see what it is because our attempt at coming up with a gender neutral name failed. Miserably.) If it's a girl, her name will be Calypso, and if its a boy, well... I have no idea what we could name him. Any ideas would be super. And you all know me. Come up with something thats amazingly unique (but make sure I can take a nickname out of it. Poor baby should be able to say his or her name after all.)
I'm gonna attempt to get my license! And then maybe a car.
So this is totally lame, but the very first IKEA in Colorado is opening and I'm stoked. Absolutely. Completely. Stoked. I miss that artsy, ultra mod, somewhat odd store. It has everything a silly European girl like me wants (and I really kinda wanna re-do my room this summer and whatnot. It's all outdated and stuff. Haha.)
I'm graduating on Saturday!
Well... That was that.
My choir came back from San Antonio beginning of the month. It was fantastic. We competed against a bunch of other schools from god knows where and well, my Women's group took Gold Ranking, First place for all the girls groups and my Mixed group took Gold Ranking, Second place for all the mixed, advanced groups. I was, and still am so proud of all of them. It was the experience of a lifetime being with all those amazing people for an entire weekend. And plus, it's funny having a ton of people stare like "Holy..." as approximately 64 teenagers, 8 parents, our director and accompanist all march into a Grand Hyatt at the same time.
And if anyone ever wanted to know- The Alamo? Not really all that exciting. I was really looking forward to it being a history nerd and once we got there it was like... "Well... This bites." You can't take pictures inside the shrine or anywhere enclosed! I have pictures of cannons from much more exciting places. So I focused on the koi fish in the streams instead. And then I went on my merry way off to Ripley's haha.
Well, that's pretty much all I have to say for now.
Much Love

Must love dogs...
Dearest reader(s)-
I just want to take a moment and tell you I haven't fallen off of the face of the earth... Although maybe I should have.
Forgive me for I have sinned... It has been 20 months since my last confession:
:bulletblue: 2013 has been the worst year of my life. Quite literally.
:bulletblue: I've been in Nursing school for over a year now... I've had awful patients, good ones, and then my favorites who have passed on... I've had fantastic days, and then days where I was terrified I'd be thrown out... Days where I was convinced my path was the right one, and days where I had no idea if there wasn't gratification to be had.
:b
Imagine me and you, and you and me...
Hello again!
So it's been a good 5 months since I've said a word on whats happened in my life, or anything for that matter. So here we go!
First updates:
:bulletred: my tattoo count had gone to 3 within a matter of three months (if that)
:bulletred: I finished my very first year of college, and life is good! Hello sophomore year!
:bulletred: In early may, I applied to take the nursing entrance exam, the HESI-A2. I took it at the end of May (and dear LORD was that hard, but I totally aced it)
:bulletred: In late June, I received my letter which officially welcomed me into the Nursing program at the University of Colorado. So as of this f
Updates to life:
Just a short update because I don't have an incredible amount to report, but I feel it necessary to let you all know that I am indeed alive- and well actually.
Since November:
:bulletgreen: I finished my first semester of college- I am 1/8 finished getting my degree! I will be a nurse in 3 and half years.
:bulletgreen: I got a tattoo! I'll post a picture in a minute :P
:bulletgreen: Christmas was fantastic! My boyfriend bought me the most amazing necklace http://www.etsy.com/listing/85995313/anatomical-heart-necklace-sterling (yes I'm that much of an anatomy and science dork). I got other fantastic presents too and I FINALLY got EA's book
Remember, Remember, the 5th of November
So-
Its been a very long time since my last update and so I figured I'd give you the scoop.
:bulletred: I graduated high school.
:bulletred: I got back together with my best friend. We are going to be stuck together forever.
:bulletred: I started college! Go UCCS Mountain Lions!
:bulletred: I still have a really boring, unemployed life...
And so the story goes.
Happy late Guy Fawkes day.
Cheerio!
